WHAT I BRING TO THE TABLE
I have directed a lot of energy towards professional development during my time as a graduate student at the University of Central Florida (UCF). I am a member of both NASPA and ASCA. I am currently a member of NASPA's Graduate Associate Program (GAP) and have attended both national and regional conferences. I competed in the NASPA Region III FL Drive-In case study competition on the graduate level in November. My team took first place in the competition. In addition to my association with professional organizations, I am the Professional Development Chair for the Student Personnel Association (SPA) at UCF. This experience has given me the opportunity to create programs for my peers geared towards their professional growth. I have also been involved with the peer mentoring program with SPA for two years. Below are links to both professional writing samples and my professional development goals.
